If you are unable to hear the sound from your device please follow the steps below to troubleshoot the device’s sound settings.
How to Troubleshoot
Press the upper 'Volume' button several times.
Go to 'Settings' > 'Sound', and confirm that all volume icons (apps, notifications, ringing) are not in vibration mode or too low.
If you are able to use your device to make phone calls through an installed application on the tablet, try making a phone call and turning up the volume.
Press the 'Up' volume key while talking to the other person.
Select 'Settings', find 'Sound and vibrations', and ensure the 'Do not disturb' setting is not on or enabled, if it is then turn it off or disable the option.
