How to Get Your National Verifier Application ID

Important Update: As of March 2025, before applying for the Lifeline program, you must first qualify through the National Verifier to retrieve your National Verifier (NV) Application ID!


Step 1: Visit the National Verifier Website


To begin the qualification process, visit the National Verifier website at this link. This step is required before you can apply for Lifeline service.



Step 2: Complete Your Application


Once on the National Verifier site:

  1. Fill out the online application with your personal information.

  2. You may be asked to provide documents to verify your identity or eligibility.

  3. If required, upload the requested documents directly on the site.




Note: Excess Telecom powered by Infiniti Mobile is not affiliated with the National Verifier and cannot assist with troubleshooting or document submission.

Step 3: Retrieve Your National Verifier Application ID


Once your application is successfully approved, you will be provided a 12-digit National Verifier Application ID. You will need this unique ID to proceed with your Lifeline application.


⚠️ Keep your Application ID safe! You will need to provide it when applying for your Lifeline service.


Step 4: Apply for Lifeline Service


After receiving your National Verifier Application ID, you can begin your Lifeline enrollment with Excess Telecom powered by Infiniti Mobile.


When prompted during the application, enter your 12-digit National Verifier Application ID on the designated Program Selection page.


If you receive an error stating “INVALID_APPLICATION_ID,” double-check that you entered the correct Application ID. It should be in the format: XXXXXX-XXXXX.




Final Step: Complete the Lifeline Enrollment


Before submitting your application:

✅ Ensure your National Verifier Application ID is correctly entered

✅ Review and accept the necessary consent and disclosure checkbox

✅ Submit your Lifeline application.


Once your enrollment is complete, you’ll receive confirmation and can begin using your Lifeline service.
